The Joinery Hub Glasgow is a Community Interest Company developing practical joinery training, woodworking courses and digital manufacturing opportunities in Glasgow. By bridging the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern technology, we aim to provide a supportive environment for personal growth, confidence building and practical skill development.
Our focus extends beyond technical training. We aim to create accessible opportunities for people who may face barriers to employment, education, confidence or social inclusion.
Our proposed learning programmes are designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, resilience, problem-solving and personal achievement while developing transferable workplace skills.
Our Mission: Purposeful Woodwork Training
We believe purposeful practical work can have a positive and lasting impact on people's lives. Our goal is to provide a structured and supportive space in Glasgow where individuals can learn, create and build a foundation for a brighter future through expert-led joinery and manufacturing programmes.
By combining traditional woodworking with CNC machining, computer-aided design, laser engraving and 3D printing, we aim to help participants understand the changing needs of modern construction and manufacturing.

Industry-Focused Training Programmes
From traditional hand-tool joinery to commercial CNC machining and 3D modelling.
We combine traditional timber craft with digital technologies such as Autodesk Fusion and VCarve Pro to help participants develop practical, real-world skills for modern manufacturing environments.
Participants may gain experience using professional tools, industry-standard software and specialist equipment while learning safe workshop practices, project planning, material selection and quality craftsmanship.
Proposed training will be delivered through hands-on projects designed to develop practical ability alongside problem-solving, teamwork, accuracy and independent working.

Our proposed training programmes are intended to be delivered through strategic partnerships with charities, community organisations, employability services, educational providers and referral agencies.
By working collaboratively, we hope to reach people who may benefit most, reduce barriers to practical learning and create meaningful pathways into further education, volunteering and employment.
As the organisation develops, we aim to expand our facilities, introduce additional specialist equipment and create training opportunities that respond to the needs of local communities and industry.
